Just because you're not sick doesn't mean you're healthy. -- Author Unknown

Water is an important pain reliever.

The above quote might well apply to chronic pain and its connection to water or the lack thereof in your body. Hydrating your body with water often alleviates. Let's explore this further.

Yes, it sounds simple enough to drink good water. And most of us do not drink enough good water, nor do we think of it as something that improves our overall health and wellness.

Water has therapeutic uses and can alleviate health conditions. No living process functions without it. It is essential to good health. If you experience chronic pain, you definitely benefit from drinking good water. There is no doubt about it.

Water makes up more than 70% of the body's tissues and plays a role in nearly every body function from regulating temperature and cushioning joints to bringing oxygen to the cells and removing waste from the body. Severe dehydration can affect blood pressure, circulation, digestion and kidney function.

Are you drinking and getting enough good water?

Are you like many Americans chronically dehydrated?

Are you experiencing fatigue, headaches, constipation, dry skin?

Or even worse, chronic pain and degenerative conditions?

Water is essential for life. Our body weight is two thirds water. You and I cannot live without water - well, only a few days.

Especially since water makes up about 2/3 of your body weight.

Proper hydration is of utmost importance to your health. Focusing on your health demands drinking good water. There is no way around it because proper water utilization is necessary for the accurate processing of 80% of the messages communicated between the brain and the body, and for proper functioning of 90% of the muscles in the body. Even a slight imbalance may cause confused electrical messages and malfunctioning in the body.

The good news is that water is readily available and that it is much cheaper than other drinks - usually packed with sugar, a carcinogenic sugar-substitute, or caffeine, or both. Read this report on sugar and sugar-substitutes here now. (Coming soon)

Water is also much better and much cheaper than drugs. Most prescription drugs, by the way, dehydrate you and on top of that remain in your cells for a long, long time. Long after their effect is gone. This is one way your body absorbs and stores toxins. And yes, the cells need good water to flush out these toxins.

I've mentioned good water a number of times now because there is a difference even in water. Most of the available drinking water is devoid of life and that means that the body often stays dehydrated.

For proper functioning, the body must assimilate the water you drink. The water therefore must be bio-available to your body.

Yep, water is good for you. It beats out soda every time. Soda pops actually leach calcium from your bones. By the way, recently a number of beverage manufacturers have gotten heavily into water. But beware, what most of them are selling you are designer beverages that are loaded with sugar, sugar-substitutes, and other additives. While their names suggest that you are drinking water, that is not the case.

There is no substitute for good water. Are you worth it?

Good water equals a healthier life, possibly entirely free of chronic pain by:

  • Giving you more energy
  • Improving physical performance
  • Reducing stress
  • Aiding weight loss
  • Reducing and eliminating headaches
  • Improving digestion
  • Preventing kidney stones
  • Keeping your heart healthy
  • Lubricating your joints
  • Helping you breathe
  • Regulating your body temperature
  • Clearing up your skin
  • Detoxing the body
  • Bolstering lung function
  • Bolstering immune function
  • Preventing DNA damage
  • ... And Many More

Your body needs good water. As you drink good water in the right quantity for your body, you may find that your body becomes more tolerant to substances that it does not now tolerate and you may be allergic to right now.

Okay, so what is good water. It is water as nature intended it to be:

Imagine a clear, cold mountain stream following down. That water runs over a magnetic field - the earth - and absorbs that vital energy. It also absorbs far-inrared radiation - the energy of the sun. As it flows over rocks and earth, it also becomes perfectly mineralized, creating alkalinity as well as great taste. And the rapid flow over rocks and stone oxygenates the water.

Hmm, that's good, pure, delicious-tasting water.

Pure, clean water is life-sustaining. You need it.

Looking to balance your pH? Start with water.

    How much water?

The common rule on how much water to drink reverts to 8 glasses per day.

How much water your body needs really depends on your body weight. Let's put this rule in place: Drink half your body weight converted to ounces. Here are two examples:

    150lbs/2 = 75oz = 9.4 glasses200 lbs/2 =100 oz = 12.5 glasses

Then add another glass of water for every cup of coffee, tea, and alcoholic drink you consume. Coffee, tea, and alcohol dehydrate the body.

How much water are you drinking? Why or why not? See My Water Story below. Your story may be similar.

Are you one of the 3 out of 4 Americans who suffer chronic dehydration? Find out. And remedy this deficiency that causes chronic pain and degenerative conditions with good water right now.

    The Challenge

How much water you drink is only part of the equation. The quality of the water you drink is even more important. A simple kinesiology test can easily reveal whether you are hydrated or not.

You may well be one of the many people who drink lots of water, yet are dehydrated simply because the water they drink may be clean (or not) but dead. That essentially means that your body does not recognize the substance you put in it as water and instead of routing it to the cells, it gets routed to the stomach. Off you go to the bathroom....

Unfortunately, it's hard to know whether you’re chronically dehydrated because the body shuts down and often does not even signal thirst any more. It's signal may be hunger when you're really thirsty.

That means that you need to drink water whether you feel thirsty or not. If you don’t, your entire body will experience the symptoms of chronic dehydration. And those can show up as symptoms of stress and actual illness.

Research on dehydration, like the research conducted by the late Dr. F. Batmanghelidj (“Your Body’s Many Cries for Water”), indicates that many diseases and their symptoms result from chronic dehydration. Chronic pain and degenerative conditions belong to them.

Your body shuts down the thirst response as you get older.

So, if You’re Thirsty, You're Probably Already Dehydrated! Go to the page about pollution and start reading.

Filtering your water is no longer an option. It is a must. Here is why.

First off, you either filter your water or you become the filter for your water. That applies to water you drink, cook with, and shower and bathe with.

Take a good look at a very fine ceramic water filter and the gunk that accumulates on it for a time period of just two weeks! And that's filtering San Francisco tap water, which supposedly has one of the best water qualities in the country.

When you don't filter this stuff out, your body does!

    Here's my story about water...

For many years I had absolutely no appreciation for water. Well, for drinking it that is. I loved to immerse my body into it in the ocean, the pool, the bathtub.

It was an unconscious decision that stemmed from one thing: I intensely disliked the taste of water. To get around that and still drink liquids I reverted to tea (my beverage of choice) and to juice. Yes, I told myself that these liquids contain water and my body would know that. Once in a while I'd drink some bottled water and that bottle would last me all day. Yet, I believed I was on the right track.... At least that's what I told myself.

Most of these drinks dehydrate and they simply cannot replace fresh, pure water. I just didn't know that and didn't want to know it because I intensely disliked drinking tap water, and even bottled water wasn't much better than that.

Until one day I tasted exquisitely delicious water. I mean water that I salivated over.

Now that same good water is my beverage of choice. And it's not even conscious. I simply WANT water. Good water. It's funny, when I go to a restaurant I usually take a sip of the water they serve there - unless I can smell the chlorine from far away - and then happily pull out my bottle of good water.

The chemicals, such as chlorine and fluoride, or even worse chloramine, are likely why I never before liked water. And even bottled water taste of plastic and chemicals.

Drinking from the tap and even drinking bottled water, I was the filter. My kidneys, internal organs, lungs, heart, skin were the filter. I literally deposited the toxins that municipalities put into our water right into my body, as well as the chemicals from the plastic that bottled water comes in. Plus, the water zapped me. I know now that just being 2-3% off in being hydrated decreases energy levels by up to 30%!

Bottom line: I drink good water now. And I drink lots of it naturally. I don't even have to think about it. My body wants it. And I feel great. My energy level increased immeasurably.

And since bathing and showering in this same good water that is pH-balanced and free of chlorine and chloramine, my skin feels fabulous. Soft and sensuous. I don't even have to use lotions anymore.

Best of all, my skin looks like that of a 20-year-old.... Yes, I'm smiling.

Not all water is created equal. A water filter is essential. And for good health and wellness good water is indispensable. It's the best investment I ever made. Are you worth good water?
