- Good sleep depends on a good mattress.

- Figure out your optimal amount of sleep.
- •Eliminate sleeping pills from your regular sleeping routine.
- Avoid big meals, caffeine, and alcohol 2 to 3 hours before going to bed.
- Use your bedroom only to sleep.
- Establish a regular routine preparing for bed.
- Establish a regular sleeping rhythm, such as going to bed and getting to bed around the same time every day.
- Take an evening walk.
- Make sure to relax intermittently for a few minutes during the day.
